MAXSA 1100-Lumen Solar Motion Security Floodlight

A high-output motion-activated solar floodlight built for larger outdoor areas. Twenty SMT LEDs produce 1,100 lumens of daylight-white illumination, while a separate solar panel and 15 ft cable give you more freedom to place the light where security coverage is needed and the panel where sunlight is strongest.

Why Greenlytes recommends it

A serious step up when 100-lumen security lights are not enough.

At 1,100 lumens, this MAXSA model is designed for larger outdoor areas where a compact accent-style security light would provide too little coverage. Motion activation keeps the light off when it is not needed, while the separate solar panel allows the charging position and lighting position to be optimized independently.

1

15 ft between panel and light

The separate solar panel connects through a 15 ft cable, giving you considerably more placement freedom than an integrated-panel fixture. Position the light for useful coverage and the panel where direct sun is easier to obtain.

2

Motion-triggered rather than continuously lit

The floodlight remains available after dark and activates when its sensor detects movement. This concentrates stored solar energy on the moments when security lighting is actually useful instead of operating continuously throughout the night.

3

Three useful adjustments

Adjust how long the light remains on, how readily motion is detected and how dark the surroundings should be before activation is enabled. That gives the fixture more control than a simple fixed-mode solar security light.

4

Silver or Black finish

Choose Silver for a lighter metallic appearance or Black for a more discreet finish against darker trim, siding or exterior structures. Both finishes use the same lighting platform and $124.95 price.

01 How bright is the MAXSA Solar Motion Security Floodlight?

The floodlight produces 1,100 lumens using 20 SMT LEDs. That places it well above compact solar security lights intended only for doorways or narrow paths and makes it more appropriate for larger driveways, yards, decks, porches and similar outdoor areas.

Greenlytes insight If you only need a small pool of light around a doorway or short walkway, a lower-output model may be sufficient. The 1,100-lumen MAXSA makes more sense when broader illumination is the goal.
02 Does the floodlight stay on continuously after dark?

No. This is a motion-activated security floodlight, not a continuous dusk-to-dawn area light. Once conditions are dark enough for the selected light sensitivity setting, detected movement can activate the LEDs. The illumination period can be adjusted from approximately 10 seconds to one minute.

03 What can be adjusted?

The MAXSA floodlight provides controls for illumination duration, motion sensitivity and ambient light sensitivity. This allows the installation to be tuned more precisely than a fixed-setting motion light.

04 Why is the solar panel separate from the floodlight?

The separate panel allows the floodlight and charging panel to be positioned independently. A 15 ft cable connects them, so the fixture can face the area that needs illumination while the solar panel is located where it can receive stronger direct sunlight.

Placement matters A powerful solar light still depends on available charging energy. Prioritize a panel location with good direct sun exposure instead of choosing the panel position solely for appearance.
05 What is the difference between Silver and Black?

The two choices are finish variants of the same lighting system. Silver corresponds to SKU 44640 and Black corresponds to SKU 44641. Both are priced at $124.95 and share the same core lighting specifications.

06 Where is this solar security floodlight best used?

Its 1,100-lumen output makes it a practical option for larger residential or light-commercial areas such as driveways, yards, decks, porches, pool areas, sheds and exterior areas around a business. Final performance still depends on mounting position, panel exposure and the size and shape of the area being illuminated.

Need more than a compact solar security light?

Bring 1,100 lumens of motion-activated light to larger outdoor areas

The MAXSA Solar Motion Security Floodlight combines high-output LEDs, adjustable motion controls and flexible solar-panel placement for properties where a smaller security light simply would not provide enough useful coverage.
