Ninja Stars are useful when the lighting target is a stair tread, deck edge, railing face, post side or walkway rather than the top of a post. The compact format makes it possible to distribute several points of light around an outdoor route while keeping installation independent from mains wiring.

01 Where can the Ninja Stars be installed?
They can be placed on a flat horizontal surface without mounting, or screw-mounted vertically or horizontally to a deck rail, post or step. That makes them useful for deck edges, stair transitions, railing faces, posts and walkway accent points.
02 How long can the lights run at night?
MAXSA rates the Ninja Star for up to 12 hours of operation on a fully charged battery. Actual nightly runtime depends on how much useful sunlight the solar panel receives during the day and can be reduced by shade, cloudy weather or seasonal conditions.
03 How much direct sunlight do they need?
For the best charging performance and longer nightly runtime, position each light where its solar panel can receive at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Heavy shade can prevent a full battery charge.
04 Do the Ninja Stars turn on automatically?
Yes. After the power button has been switched on, a light-sensitive trigger allows the lights to activate when the surrounding environment becomes dark enough. Avoid placing them close to strong porch or street lighting that could interfere with nighttime activation.
05 What comes in the package?
The package includes four Ninja Star solar deck accent light modules and eight mounting screws. Each light has its own integrated solar charging system, so the four units can be distributed around the installation area.
06 Can the rechargeable battery be replaced?
Yes. The manual specifies a rechargeable AAA NiMH battery and provides a battery-replacement procedure. A rechargeable NiMH replacement should be used rather than a disposable alkaline battery.
07 Are these meant to replace a bright security light?
No. The Ninja Stars are accent and guidance lights for marking outdoor surfaces and transitions. MAXSA does not publish a lumen rating for this model, so Greenlytes does not present them as high-output flood or security lighting.
