01 How bright is the MAXSA Solar Wedge Light?
The light produces 90 lumens from two LEDs. It is best suited to relatively small, defined areas such as doors, steps, garage entrances, short walkways, small patios and mail or garbage areas.
02 Does it need a separate solar panel?
No. The solar panel is integrated directly into the wedge-shaped housing, so there is no separate panel or connecting cable to install.
03 How does the motion mode work?
In motion mode, the light activates after dark when movement is detected and remains illuminated for approximately four minutes per activation.
04 Can the light remain on continuously?
Yes. The Always On mode provides steady illumination when continuous light is preferred over motion-triggered operation.
05 How much sunlight does it need?
Position the integrated solar panel where it can receive around 6–8 hours of direct sunlight per day. Heavy shade can reduce charging and nighttime performance.
06 How far can the motion sensor detect movement?
The sensor covers approximately 100° horizontally and can detect movement up to about 22 feet at 77°F. Detection range can vary with temperature, placement and surrounding conditions.
07 Does it have to be mounted to a wall?
No. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on a solid surface, or placed on a suitable flat surface when permanent mounting is unnecessary.
08 What is the difference between White and Off-White?
The difference is the housing finish. White is SKU 40234 and Off-White is SKU 40235. Both versions share the same lighting and operating specifications.
