240 lm
MAXSA Solar-Powered Ultra-Bright Flood Light
A higher-output continuous solar flood light for driveways, signs, flags, parking areas, storage spaces, decks and other outdoor locations that need steady illumination after dark. Twelve LEDs provide 240 lumens at full power or 120 lumens at half power, while three separate solar panels increase the charging surface available to the system.
SKU: 40331
More continuous light and more solar collection for larger outdoor jobs.
The 40331 keeps the dusk-to-dawn behavior of a compact continuous flood light, but raises output to 240 lumens and uses three separate solar panels. That makes it better suited to larger signs, wider driveways, parking areas, storage spaces and other locations where lower-output accent lighting would be too limited.
240 lumens for larger outdoor features and spaces.
Full-power mode delivers 240 lumens from the 12-LED array, giving this model substantially more output than a low-output accent flood light. It is suited to driveways, large signs, flags, parking areas, outdoor storage spaces and broader landscape features that need steady light rather than motion-triggered bursts.
Full or half power
Run the light at 240 lumens for up to about six hours on a full charge, or switch to 120 lumens for up to about twelve hours. Half power is the better choice when duration matters more than maximum output.
Three separate solar panels
The system uses three amorphous solar panels instead of one. Each panel has its own 10 ft power cable, allowing the charging surfaces to sit where sunlight is useful while the flood light stays aimed at the area that needs illumination.
Wall, roof, sign or flagpole mounting
The flood light can mount to a solid wall, roof or sign, and the supplied pole hardware supports flagpole installation. The three solar panels can mount to a wall or roof or be positioned on the ground with their adjustable brackets.
6500 K cool-white output
The 40331 uses a daylight-like 6500 K cool-white light. That crisp appearance suits signs, driveways, parking areas and utilitarian outdoor spaces where visibility is more important than a warm architectural glow.

01 Does the MAXSA 40331 stay on continuously after dark?
Yes. The 40331 is a continuous dusk-to-dawn solar flood light, not a motion-triggered security light. Its light-sensitive trigger turns the LEDs on automatically after dark.
02 How bright is the MAXSA Ultra-Bright Solar Flood Light?
Full-power mode produces 240 lumens. Half-power mode reduces output to 120 lumens while extending the maximum runtime. Both settings use the same 12-LED cool-white array.
03 Why does this solar flood light use three solar panels?
The 40331 is supplied with three separate amorphous solar panels. Together they provide a larger solar collection system for the higher-output light, and each panel can be angled independently toward useful sunlight. Each panel has a 10 ft power cable, so the panels do not need to sit directly beside the flood light.
04 How long will the 40331 run at night?
With a full charge, maximum runtime is up to about six hours at 240-lumen full power or up to about twelve hours at 120-lumen half power. Actual runtime depends on the energy collected during the day, so season, shade, cloud cover and panel orientation all affect the result.
05 How much direct sunlight do the three solar panels need?
Plan for approximately six to eight hours of direct sunlight per day when possible. The panels should be positioned where they are not shaded or placed behind glass.
06 Where can the MAXSA 40331 be installed?
The flood light can mount to a wall, roof or sign, and the supplied pole hardware also supports flagpole mounting. The three solar panels can mount to a wall or roof or be positioned on the ground. Typical applications include signs, flags, gardens, backyards, driveways, parking lots, outdoor storage areas, entrance doors, decks, porches and sheds.
07 Is the MAXSA 40331 weather resistant?
The 40331 carries an IP44 weatherproof rating and uses a durable metal housing with a sealed lens for outdoor use. As with any outdoor solar light, keeping the panels and lens clean helps preserve charging and light output.
08 Does it require household wiring or an electrical outlet?
No household electrical connection is required for normal operation. The three solar panels charge the built-in 3.7 V lithium-ion battery system during the day, and the stored energy powers the 12 LEDs after dark. The 10 ft leads are low-voltage power cables connecting the solar panels to the flood light; they are not mains-power cords.
Illuminate larger outdoor areas without running household wiring
The MAXSA 40331 combines 240-lumen full-power output, dusk-to-dawn operation, two brightness/runtime modes and three separately positionable solar panels. It is a practical step up when a compact accent flood light does not provide enough continuous illumination.
