The flag and the sun are rarely in the same direction. This commercial LED solar flagpole light lets you aim the beam upward toward the flag while tilting the integrated panel for better daytime exposure. That flexibility makes it easier to get both the beam and the charging angle right.
Aim the beam at the flag instead of relying on a fixed top light.
Mount the fixture lower on the pole and adjust the head upward. This directional approach gives you control over where the available light lands and makes aiming part of the installation.

Eight 10 mm LEDs deliver 280 lux of focused illumination, while the adjustable head lets you direct that light where the flag actually flies.

01 What size flagpole does the CSFPL-8 fit?
The clamping assembly is specified for flagpoles from 2 to 6 inches in diameter. Measure the pole where you intend to attach the bracket, especially on a tapered pole. The pole clamp can also be removed for suitable flat-surface mounting.
02 Is 280 lux the same as 280 lumens?
No. The CSFPL-8 is rated at 280 lux. Lux measures how much light reaches a surface, while lumens measure the total light emitted by a source. The two figures are not interchangeable without knowing the beam pattern, distance and illuminated area.
03 Where should the light be mounted on the pole?
There is no single mounting height that is correct for every installation. The goal is to position the fixture where its adjustable beam can reach the flag effectively while the bracket remains secure and accessible. A moderate mounting distance generally gives you room to aim the beam upward while keeping the fixture accessible for adjustment.
04 How long will the light stay on?
Runtime can reach up to 12 hours on a full charge. That is a maximum under favorable charging conditions, not a guaranteed nightly runtime. Direct sunlight, season, cloud cover, panel angle, shade and battery condition all influence stored energy.
05 Why is the adjustable solar panel useful?
The light head and integrated solar panel can be adjusted separately within the assembly, so you can aim the beam toward the flag while tilting the panel toward stronger daytime sun.
06 Does the CSFPL-8 switch on automatically?
The fixture turns on automatically at dusk. Adequate daytime charging is still required for useful overnight runtime, and strong nearby artificial light can affect dusk sensing on solar fixtures.
07 What comes with the light?
The package includes the complete light assembly with its integrated solar panel, internal rechargeable battery and pole-mounting hardware. The pole clamp can also be removed for suitable flat-surface mounting.
08 Who should choose a different flagpole light?
Choose a higher-output or multi-fixture outdoor flagpole lighting system if your flag is unusually high, very large, or needs strong illumination from several directions. If the site receives persistent shade or you need illumination independent of recent weather, a wired system may be more dependable.
