80 lm
MAXSA Continuous-On Solar-Powered Flood Light
A dusk-to-dawn solar flood light for signs, flags, landscaping and outdoor areas that need steady illumination rather than motion-triggered bursts. Twelve LEDs provide 80 lumens at full power or 40 lumens in the longer-running half-power mode, while a separate adjustable solar panel gives you more freedom to chase direct sunlight.

Steady solar illumination when motion activation is not the goal.
Many outdoor solar flood lights are built around motion sensors. This MAXSA model solves a different problem: it turns on automatically after dark and provides continuous light for signs, flags, landscaping, pathways and outdoor features. Full and half-power modes let you choose between stronger illumination and longer runtime.
A practical solar sign light, landscape light and flag light in one fixture.
The automatic photosensor switches the LEDs on after dark, making this fixture useful where you want a feature to stay visible without waiting for motion. It works especially well as a solar sign light for property signs, address markers and display areas, while the included mounting hardware also supports landscape and flagpole applications.
Full or half power
Use full power for 80 lumens and up to about five hours of light on a full charge, or switch to 40 lumens for up to about ten hours. The lower setting is useful when longer illumination matters more than maximum brightness.
Separate solar panel with a 9 ft cable
The light and charging panel do not have to face the same direction. Use the 9 ft connecting cable to aim the flood light where illumination is useful while positioning the adjustable solar panel where direct sunlight is stronger.
More mounting flexibility than a fixed all-in-one light
Mount the fixture on a wall, roof or sign, use the supplied hardware for a flagpole installation, and position the solar panel separately or directly with the light. That flexibility is valuable when the best lighting angle is not the best charging angle.
Cool White or Warm White
Choose model 40330 for a crisp 6500–7000 K daylight-white appearance or model 40329 for warmer 2700 K illumination. The warmer option blends more naturally with residential architecture; the cooler option gives signs and landscape features a brighter-looking white tone.

01 Does the MAXSA 40329/40330 stay on continuously after dark?
Yes. This is a continuous-on solar flood light rather than a motion-activated security light. Its photosensor automatically turns the LEDs on after sundown. On a full charge, full power provides up to about five hours of illumination, while half power extends runtime to up to about ten hours.
02 Can this be used as a solar sign light?
Yes. Sign illumination is one of the strongest use cases for this fixture. The light can mount on a wall, roof or sign, and the separate solar panel can be positioned for better sun exposure. That makes it useful as a solar sign light for property signs, entrance signs, address markers and other outdoor displays where electrical wiring is inconvenient.
03 What is the difference between MAXSA 40330 and 40329?
The difference is light color. MAXSA 40330 uses a 6500–7000 K cool-white LED output, while MAXSA 40329 produces a much warmer 2700 K light. Their core continuous-on lighting system, 80/40-lumen output modes and solar-charging configuration are otherwise the same.
04 How long will the solar flood light run at night?
With a full charge, expect up to about five hours at 80-lumen full power or up to about ten hours at 40-lumen half power. Actual runtime depends on the amount of solar energy collected during the day, so seasonal daylight, cloud cover, shade and panel orientation all matter.
05 How much direct sunlight does the solar panel need?
Plan for approximately six to eight hours of direct sunlight per day when possible. Shade, obstructions and installation behind glass reduce charging performance. The separate adjustable panel is useful because it can be aimed toward stronger sunlight independently of the floodlight.
06 Can the MAXSA solar flood light illuminate a flag or flagpole?
Yes. The product includes hardware for flagpole mounting, and its continuous nighttime operation makes it suitable for illuminating a flag rather than waiting for motion. The adjustable panel can be positioned separately so solar charging does not depend on the direction the light must face.
07 Where else can this outdoor solar flood light be used?
Beyond signs and flags, it can provide accent or orientation lighting around landscaping, walkways, driveways, decks, porches, patios, entrances and mail or garbage areas. Its 80-lumen maximum output is intended for localized illumination rather than high-output security coverage of a large yard or parking area.
08 Does it require household wiring or an electrical outlet?
No household electrical connection is required for normal operation. The solar panel charges three rechargeable 1.2 V AA Ni-MH batteries during the day, and the stored energy powers the LEDs after dark. The included 9 ft cable connects the solar panel to the light; it is not a mains-power cable.
Illuminate signs, flags and outdoor features without running electrical wiring
The MAXSA Continuous-On Solar-Powered Flood Light combines automatic dusk activation, two brightness/runtime modes and flexible solar-panel placement in a compact 12-LED system. Choose Cool White for a crisp daylight appearance or Warm White for softer architectural lighting.
